RadioOnFire.com - A former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football player reportedly had his house raided by a SWAT team in Melbourne, Florida, after allegedly making threats against the Dallas Cowboys organization during last week's draft.
According to police, 26-year-old Keyon Reed "called members of the Dallas Cowboys and was telling them they needed to sign him. They stated he was making threats to harm people if the Cowboys did not sign him."
Reed admitted to making the threats to police, saying he was "frustrated they wouldn't 'show him the real money' and sign him to a contract."
Authorities decided not to arrest the former defensive end after determining he wasn't a threat.
Reed also made threats via Twitter, but his account has since been suspended. In one of his tweets, the former NFL hopeful wrote, "GEttin impatient with u mfs @dallascowboys if Terrell not drafted n Im not the 1st Pick of the Dallas Cowboys. IMMA BLOW THaT B**CH UP n Ask y I am Mad Ask Coach HUESMAN n SHEILds B**CH ASS.. CALL the POLice."
Reed played two seasons for Chattanooga, appearing in 13 games, (three starts) registering 24 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two fumble recoveries. He was arrested in 2013 and charged with assaulting a police officer.
