Unfortunately, a lot of participants using this technology don't do the proper research on their potential companions to maintain their safety or to ensure that they are indeed a genuine match for their personality and needs. With so many superficial expectations and people looking for all the right things in the wrong places, you could end up running into characters like this guy, Paul Gonzales, known as the California dine & dash serial dater.
This past week, the dine and dash serial dater struck again in Pasadena, California while meeting a blind date at Mercado restaurant.
Gonzales arrived early at the location and ordered shrimp tacos before his date showed, then introduced himself as "Mike" as two then ordered additional items together which led to the dine and dasher leaving to use the restroom upon finishing his meal. Unfortunately, Gonzales never returned and left his blind date stranded to handle the bill.
This isn't the first time that this has happened to an unexpecting woman in California. Another instance of Gonzales striking took place at a Pasadena, BJ's Pizzeria where he left another blind date stranded with the bill after claiming to receive a phone call and never returning.
To this day, Gonzales hasn't been caught and is still on the run eating free of charge. Ladies, be safe out there.
