RadioOnFire.com - Just hours after turning himself over to the NYPD in surrender to allegations of rape, Harvey Weinstein appeared in court in New York City on Friday (May 25) where he was formally charged with various sex crimes. In addition to the rape charge, the fallen Hollywood producer now faces the possibility of being convicted for a criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct involving two women.
While the identities of the alleged victims have not been disclosed to the public, the New York Times reports that the more serious complaint was filed by a woman who claims Harvey raped her in a Manhattan hotel in 2013. However, most of the counts brought up against the Miramax studio founder come from aspiring actress Lucia Evans, who has said that Weinstein forced oral sex from her while they were in his office in 2004.

"We believe that they are constitutionally flawed. We believe that they are not factually supported by the evidence," Brafman told reporters.
