RadioOnFire.com - It's that time of the year again, when BET announces the nominees for their annual award ceremony. The nominees were announced on Tuesday (May 15) night, and DJ Khaled leads the pack with 6 nominations. Those nods include album of the year for Grateful, video of the year for "Wild Thoughts," best male hip-hop artist, best collaboration, and the Coca-Cola viewer's choice award.
Migos and SZA tie in second place with four nominations each. Migos is up for the best group award, and they face off against Khaled for best video award and album of the year. SZA will face off against Beyonce and Rihanna for best female R&B/pop artist, will try to grab the coveted best new artist award, and will also battle for album of the year against Migos and Khaled.
Three of the stars of Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Daniel Kaluuya, face off in the best actor category which also includes Denzel Washington and Donald Glover. Three actresses from the film, Lupita Nyong'o, Letitia Wright, and Angela Bassett, are also locked in competition for the best actress category.
The BET Awards air live on BET on June 24 from Los Angeles.
