RadioOnFire.com - T.I. was arrested on Wednesday morning in Georgia after he argued with a security guard outside his gated community. According to TMZ, T.I. had misplaced the key to enter the gated community, in which he owns a multi-million dollar property. The guard at the gate would not let T.I. through. After arguing with the guard for some time, T.I. was allowed to enter the gated community.
Apparently, the King of the South was feeling some type of way about the interaction, because he returned to confront the security guard once more after he had been let in. The guard became frightened and claimed that T.I. threatened him, so he called the police. When the cops arrived, they claim to have smelt liquor on the rapper's breath, and arrested him for simple assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
In a new video, obtained by TMZ, T.I. can be seen in central booking arguing with his arresting officer. The rapper is calm and collected as he demands an answer for why he was locked up. When the officer answers that he was "acting a fool,"
T.I. defends himself by saying he had a right to confront the guard. The officer claims that the rapper should not have returned to the scene after being let in the first time, but T.I. feels like the millions of dollars he pays to the property gives him the right to approach anyone that tries to stop him from entering his home. The two end up agreeing to settle the debate in court.
