Report: Jimmy Smith Suspended 4 Games For Violating PED Policy

RadioOnFire.com - Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, Adam Schefter reports.
After suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in a Week 13 win against the Detroit Lions, Smith will withdraw his appeal and immediately begin serving the suspension.
Before the injury, Smith was having one of his best seasons as a professional. Pro Football Focus has smith ranked as the No. 12 cornerback this year.

Rookies Marlon Humphrey and Chuck Clark, as well as Maurice Canady should see more time with Smith out for the season.
