Sean Hannity's Georgia Apt Complex Reportedly Rose 400% in Evictions

RadioOnFire.com - Judging by the record of the number of county court eviction notices on file for an apartment complex in Columbus, GA - owner Sean Hannity doesn't play when it comes to receiving rent on time.

The management company overseeing operations at the complex, in the Fox News host' name, has served orders to evict some 61 different families since his 2014 purchase of the property.

Hannity raised eyebrows earlier this month when he confessed to consulting with Trump lawyer Michael Cohen on real estate after a federal investigation revealed that the media personality too was one of the attorney's clients.

An investigation that The Guardian conducted into Hannity's real estate dealings, after learning of the connection, revealed that he is the secret owner of a shell company that has benefited from $17.9 million worth of mortgages secured by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

It turns out Hannity has done exceptionally well for himself in the area, with a portfolio that includes the acquisition of 870 homes to the tune of $90 million over the past decade. Thanks to one of HUD's programs, a good many of those buildings are in low-income neighborhoods, as are the Hampton Place apartments, which only saw 12 different tenants being forced to leave over late rent in the previous three and a half years.

That rise from 12 before Hannity's ownership, to 60 afterward, works out to a 400% jump in evictions.
