Ravens To Sign Robert Griffin III

RadioOnFire.com - Ozzie Newsome opened his last pre-draft press conference with a bombshell: the Baltimore Ravens have agreed with quarterback Robert Griffin III on a one-year deal.
Terms of the deal weren't immediately disclosed. Griffin will back up Joe Flacco.
"He came in last week, worked out, real good workout and we were able to come to an agreement late yesterday," Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said. "He will probably be here early next week to sign the deal."
Griffin, who didn't play last season, started five games in 2016 for the Cleveland Browns, missing much of the season with a shoulder injury. He completed 87 passes in 147 attempts that season, good for 886 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. He was a first-round pick out of Baylor for the Washington Redskins, playing from 2012 to 2014 in a stint that included a Pro Bowl selection (though he did not play) one playoff loss in the 2012 season.
Griffin has struggled to stay healthy, with knee injuries hampering his rookie season and a concussion causing him to sit out a game against the Ravens in 2015.
