Police Make 5 Arrests Following East Baltimore Shooting

RadioOnFire.com - Baltimore police say they've made five arrests in the east Baltimore shootout allegedly witnessed by officers, who followed a vehicle from the scene.

The vehicle went from the 2100 block of Aiken Street--where police witnessed the shooting at around 2:30 p.m.--to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police saw an SUV speeding away from the area, and followed it to the hospital's Wolfe Street entrance, where they found three in the vehicle. Police said the suspects were trying to go to the emergency room, but mistakenly went to that entrance.

Police say Darius Foster, Kenneth Black and Shamya Black were in the car, and Black was suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand. Kenneth Black was treated at the hospital for the gunshot wound. Police later obtained arrest warrants for those three and two others--Charles Alston and Devin O'Cain--on attempted murder, assault, handgun and drug charges.

Police didn't elaborate on what they believe led to the shooting, or who fired at whom.
