RadioOnFire.com - Domestic violence isn't only prevalent in American society but it's an issue all over the world that has more women each day standing up, fighting for their rights, and empowering themselves to stand to their abusers.
Unfortunately, some members of the entertainment community continue to participate in abusive behavior towards the women in their lives that ultimately will cost them their livelihood and reputation and Columbus Short is one of those men.
Only three years ago, Columbus Short was charged with assault for allegedly holding a knife to his then-wife, Tanee McCall's throat. The two were married from 2005-2013 and currently share a child together. That's not the only physical altercation Columbus Short has been involved in, in recent history. Back in 2014, he was in a bar brawl that resulted in him putting his hands on another patron which resulted in the actor being put on probation.
Unfortunately, Short has yet to learn his lesson as he's headed to the clink for a full year for pleading no contest for hitting his now-wife, Aida Abramyan, in the midst of an argument back in November of last year.
The once Scandal star has forever tainted his reputation because of his inability to control his temper. No one should condone abuse towards women and it looks like Short won't have an option other than to take out his rage on other men being that he'll be behind bars. Ultimately, let this be a lesson to keep your hands to yourself in regards to women, fellas.
