DJ Khaled Sues Company for Using His Son's Name

RadioOnFire.com - DJ Khaled recently filed a lawsuit against Curtis Bordenave and his company Business Consulting, for filing to trademark "Asahd Couture," "Asahd," and "We The Best Lifestyle." The famed DJ claims, according to TMZ, that Bordenave and his company made clothing sporting his son's name which caused customer confusion and unfair profits for Bordenave.

The court docs also reveal that Khaled is looking to launch his own clothing brand under the name, Haddad Brands, and has blocked his use of anything Asahd-related. It was also pointed out that Bordenave has attempted to trademark "Cardi B," "Stormi Couture" and "Cynthia Bailey Eyewear." Khaled is looking to strip Bordenave of his use of Asahd's name as well as any profits he's made from the name thus far.
