RadioOnFire.com - A two-time world heavyweight champion, legendary Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko has retired after 21 years. "The fire has gone out," said Klitschko. "I could not face another long training camp at my age," he admitted. "I tried. I started. But the motivation is no longer there. Not when I have accomplished everything for which I ever dreamed."
In addition to dominating his weight class for a decade, Klitschko also has a gold medal. He revived the heavyweight division during a time when there were virtually no real champions. In his most recent fight, Klitschko lost to champion Anthony Joshua in front of 90,000 strong. Klitschko turned down the option to rematch, citing his age and lack of desire. Klitschko retires with a record of 64-5 with 53 knockouts. When it's all said and done, Klitschko will go down as a top ten heavyweight of all time.
