Judge Delays Sentencing For Former Trump Security Adviser Michael Flynn

Judge to Flynn: "Not only did you lie to the FBI, you lied" to senior Trump officials

RadioOnFire.com - Previously, Trump’s former national security adviser was investigated for his involvement in the alleged collusion between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russia.

Sentencing was scheduled to take place for Flynn, but reportedly has been delayed. According to reports, Flynn’s lawyers asked the judge on the case for a continuance that allows Michael Flynn finish his cooperation in the probe that is being directed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. As of now, a new sentencing date for Michael Flynn has not been scheduled.



If Sullivan sentences Flynn today, he can only take into consideration the cooperation up to this point. A sentence at a later date might be different if Flynn's cooperation continued, Sullivan said.


"The aggravating circumstances are serious. Not only did you lie to the FBI, you lied to senior officials in the incoming administration," Sullivan said.
