Judge Genece Brinkley Denies Meek Mill Bail, Rapper to Remain in Prison

RadioOnFire.com
- According to TMZ, Judge Genece Brinkley denied Meek Mill the possibility of posting bail. Because of that, the rapper will remain in prison for the time being.

There was no reason given as to why his bid to be released on bail was denied, but Meek’s legal team thinks that Brinkley is holding a grudge against the rapper. Joe Tacopina spoke to TMZ and said: “This ruling from Judge Genece Brinkley simply reaffirms the fact she has turned Meek Mill's case into a personal vendetta."

The lawyer went on to say “In spite of the recommendations from the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, which was supported by Governor Tom Wolf, the judge continues to stand alone in supporting Officer Reginald Graham's perjured testimony as well as his criminal behavior that has been documented.” The rapper’s legal is planning on appealing the decision to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
