On February 3rd, Tekashi 6ix9ine took to Instagram to announce that he signed with Birdman. In the post, where 6ix9ine is seen with Birdman and Young Thug, Tekashi wrote, "Just signed to Birdman RICHGANG 🔥🙌🏻 15 million 💰
February 23rd ‼️" 6ix9ine has been known to troll his fans before, and it looks like he's at it again.
As reported by XXL, a rep for Birdman confirms that no such deal took place. The announcement came after 6ix9ine originally posted a picture with lawyer Bob Celestin with the caption, "Right now I'm signing my life away to illuminati for 7.5 million dollars. Life is awesome."
6ix9ine is currently gearing up for the release of his debut mixtape while trying to stay out of jail. The 21-year-old is currently on probation stemming from sex charges where he and his friends molested and received oral sex from a 14-year-old girl. As a part of his plea deal, Tekashi was required to get his GED, which he has yet to accomplish. If he can't pass his tests by April, 6ix9ine will spend time behind bars.
