Huge ‘IMPEACH’ Billboard Goes Up Near California’s Bay Bridge

RadioOnFire.com - Wednesday, commuters crossing the Bay Bridge from Oakland to San Francisco were greeted by a billboard with giant yellow letters reading “Impeach” alongside an image of President Donald Trump, said WTSP News.

The sign was placed by the Courage Campaign — a group dedicated to promoting progressive causes that initially coalesced around fighting California’s anti-LGBTQ measure Proposition 8 — and directs viewers to the website demandimpeachmentnow.com.

“We are a grassroots organization. If we are not calling for impeachment, given what has happened, who is?” said Courage Campaign head Eddie Kurtz, who pointed out that more than a million people cross the Bay Bridge every day, making it a keenly desirable location to place a message.

“Trump does something absolutely unacceptable, unethical, just the thing you could never imagine even the worst of our previous presidents doing,” Kurtz told WTSP. “There’s this wave of outrage — it happened after Charlottesville, it happened even before he was elected when he admitted to sexually assaulting women — and then it settles down and his base is still with him.”

The news channel spoke with political scientist Dr. Steve Woolpert of St. Mary’s College, who said that impeachment is currently highly unlikely unless some glaring instance of criminal wrongdoing should come to light.
