2 Dead After Small Aircraft Crashes Near Bay Bridge Airport

RadioonFire.com - A small aircraft crashed Tuesday near the Bay Bridge Airport in Queen Anne's County, killing two.
Two people were aboard what Maryland State Police say was a Van's Aircraft RV-12. The crash's cause is not yet known, but state police spokesman Cpl. DaVaughn Parker has confirmed the passengers, a man and woman, have been pronounced dead. The plane was rented at an airport in Delaware.
Troopers said in a Tweet Tuesday afternoon that the crash occurred at Maryland Route 8 and Route 50 in Stevensville. State Police say a spokesperson is headed to the scene.
The county-owned airport serves mostly general aviation and flight students.
