Man Charged With Killing Woman Whose Body Was Found In Catonsville Park

Baltimore County Police are charging a Catonsville man with killing a woman whose body was found Friday in Westview Neighborhood Park.

Police are charging 23-year-old Terrence Newman, Jr., with the death of 21-year-old Carlita Coleman of Catonsville.

Police say the two were acquaintances.

Newman has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The cause of death will be determined by the autopsy which is not complete.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
