President Donald Trump says the Boeing 747-8 donated by Qatar and recently placed into presidential service will temporarily go offline for additional upgrades.
The aircraft, valued at roughly $400 million, began carrying Trump on July 1, 2026. Now the president says it will be “maxed out” with additional capabilities while he returns to using the older Air Force One.
