Ed Reed Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame

RadioOnFire.com - Former Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed has been elected to the 2019 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Reed, who played 12 NFL seasons -- the first 11 in Baltimore -- becomes the third homegrown Raven (Jonathan Ogden in 2013 and Ray Lewis in 2018) to earn Hall of Fame honors.

"Ed has the hearts of everyone in Baltimore -- not just because he was a great player, but also for how he served others and impacted our community. He was someone who made everyone better, whether that was on the field, in the film room or simply around town as he created opportunities for those in need," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. "While he is probably the most unpredictable and dynamic defensive player in league history, I believe his best achievement is being a great dad. We are very proud of Ed and congratulate him on this incredible, well-deserved honor."
