Stephen A Smith Says He'd Be "Shocked" if Cavs Win More Than One Finals Game

RadioOnFire.com - Basketball fans will be getting a fourth installment of the Golden State Warriors versus the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA finals after the Warriors beat the Rockets 101-92 on Monday. The defending champs avoided the game 7 loss led by Kevin Durant’s 34-point performance. The team came back to win after trailing by double digits at halftime

While the series will possess a Lebron James playing amazing basketball, Stephen A Smith believes the matchup won’t go past five games. After the Warriors victory, Smith spoke about the performance of the team and the challenges they will pose to the Cavs, explaining that the talent of Golden State will be too much for the Cavs to handle.

Although he calls James the “greatest player of this generation, Smith says he finds it hard to believe the Cavs can put up much of a fight against Warriors after they only won one game in last year’s series while Kyrie Irving was still on the team.

“I see a five-game series,” Smith said when asked his thoughts on the finals. “I think the greatness of Lebron James mandates that you show him the respect of giving him one game.”
