23-year-old Akilah DaSilva was shot and killed by Travis Reinking before his career could truly take off. In fact, DaSilva, who went by the moniker Natrix Dream, had just released a new music video before he was murdered. A GoFundMe has been created by his family members to help afford expensive funeral arrangments. The story on the page reads:

One of 6 loving siblings, Akilah was passionate about his music, family, and life. He was pursuing a career in musical engineering at MTSU. A loving son and selfless friend, he was a beacon of hope, love, and strength in his family."
The page had a set goal of $10,000, and at the time of publication, that goal was exceeded. 352 people contributed $12,801 in just one day.
