RadioOnFire.com - Steve Harvey is being sued by a former business partner, Vincent Dimmock, who claims the television star failed to deliver on paying him a commission earlier this year. Vincent Dimmock states he was hired by Harvey to raise $20 million for the Steve and Marjorie Foundation. In return, Harvey was to pay 12.5% of the money raised to Dimmock.
Dimmock states he contacted a wide array of persons to raise the money, including high-level executives, Barack Obama, and A-list Hollywood entertainers. He claims to have accumulated over $20 million in donations and states that Harvey would have owed him a $2.7 million payout.
Dimmock continues to say that he connected Harvey to a prominent investor, and during a meeting with the said investor, Harvey slandered celebrities such as Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey, stating that they give him “bad advice” and were to blame for his financial troubles.
Harvey’s agent has commented on the situation and expressed doubts about the validity of Dimmock’s complaint, stating, “'It sounds fake,' Frank said. 'Steve is the most loyal guy in the world. I've never been stiffed on a commission from Steve Harvey in 21 years.”
Online, Steve Harvey's net worth is listed at $100 million, over various sources.
