RadioOnFire.com - Donald Trump had a few things to say about the Alabama election. Yesterday, Democrat Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore in the race for Senate.
Early this morning, Trump tweeted: "If last night’s election proved anything, it proved that we need to put up GREAT Republican candidates to increase the razor thin margins in both the House and Senate."
Trump awkwardly congratulated Jones on his win late last night (while showing support to Republicans) "Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!"
Jones' opponent Roy Moore made headlines in early November after alleged reports claimed he sexually abused a 14-year-old girl and pursued relationships with other teenagers.
What do you think about Trump's statements?
