RadioOnFire.com - Officers with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office say they've uncovered an audio tape recorded 24 years ago on which Corey Feldman lists the names of men who sexually abused him.
Feldman claimed in October that he had named the men while speaking with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office in 1993 during their investigation into Michael Jackson's molestation charges, but they weren't interested in his story at the time.
The former child superstar recalled the conversation during a Today show interview, claiming he "sat down and I gave them names. They're on record. They have all this information."
Until now the sheriff's office had denied Feldman's claims, saying they had no records of him speaking about his alleged molesters. On Wednesday, however, they announced they found the audio in a container from the original Michael Jackson abuse investigation.
"In a container which included the original reports from the (Jackson) investigation, the Sheriff’s Office located some detective working copies of audio recordings made during the investigation. A copy of Mr. Feldman’s interview was located. The recording is being turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department," the office said in a statement.
Last month Feldman named two men he alleged had molested him: his former assistant and actor Jon Grissom, and former child talent manager and convicted sex offender Marty Weiss.
