Browns Showed Fight, But Ravens Win 27-10

RadioOnFire.com - The winless Browns put up a fight but in the end the Ravens dominated with a 27-10 victory.

To some that may be a surprise, but each of Baltimore's last four games in Cleveland have been decided by one possession.

In need of a win to keep pace in the AFC Wild Card race, the Baltimore Ravens took an early lead against the Cleveland Browns. A 13-play, 62-yard drive resulted in a Justin Tucker field goal.

The Ravens are 6-1 this season when scoring first.

Baltimore's defense shut down the Browns early, holding them to zero yards in the first quarter. However, after a failed Alex Collins rush on fourth and goal, Browns running back Isaiah Crowell woke up the Dawg Pound with a 59-yard carry into Baltimore territory.

That run sparked a five-play, 96-yard drive touchdown drive -- done entirely on the ground -- to take a 7-3 lead. At that point, Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer was 3/7 with -12 passing yards and 1 INT.

Throughout the first half, quarterback Joe Flacco took care of the ball and was on target, but his receivers dropped a few passes. His first pass following the Browns' first touchdown was a 30-yard rope to Mike Wallace down the left sideline, placing the ball perfectly between the white line and Cleveland defender.

Later in the drive, the Ravens again found themselves in a third and goal, but instead of Collins getting the call, Flacco walked in a quarterback keeper.
