RadioOnFire.com - LaVar Ball has gotten under Trump's skin, and the President is struggling to let the basketball dad's snub of his request for a 'thank you' go.
It became apparent on Sunday, November 19, that Trump isn't feeling LaVar's silence on the favor he did LiAngelo by getting him out of a sticky legal dilemma in China this past week. The President had gone his entire Saturday without raising an issue with the Big Baller Brand boss, in public, albeit just the day prior LaVar told ESPN's Arash Markazi that LiAngelo, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill's release from Chinese Authorities weren't dependent upon Trump pulling strings. However, this past Sunday morning, Trump broke his silence to question LaVar's parenthood and to gripe that he "should have left them in jail."
Trump's tweet drew mixed reactions from his base of 43 million followers. Six hours hadn't passed before he was going back in on LaVar, though. "Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar," he wrote. The President then incited his deplorable loyalists by posing that he "Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead."
"China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!" tweeted Trump.
This to me sounds like a distraction on Trump's part.
