US Fires Test Missile Across Pacific, Says Unrelated to North Korea

RadioOnFire.com - According to ABC News, the United States Air Force recently conducted a test of a Minuteman II intercontinental ballistic missile early Wednesday morning in California. The missile was tested about 130 miles away from Los Angeles around 2:10 AM Pacific Time.
The Air Force issued a statement about the missile test saying: “While not a response to recent North Korean actions, the test demonstrates that the United States' nuclear enterprise is safe, secure, effective and ready to be able to deter, detect and defend against attacks on the United States and its allies.” News of the United States’ missile test comes shortly after the Pentagon revealed that North Korea allegedly has been testing intercontinental ballistic missiles of their own.
