RadioOnFire.com - Recently, news broke that R. Kelly was allegedly running a sex cult with women who were barely of age. It was thought that the singer was holding some of the women hostage and would not let them use their cell phones to contact anyone outside of where they were staying. A rep for Kelly issued a statement since then saying, “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”
It isn’t known for sure if the cult allegations had an effect on his touring sale, but it now has been reported that the Chicago singer has scrapped four shows from his After Party Tour. TMZ reported that the venue at his show in Virginia on July 28th was half full, which led his team to cancel two shows in Louisiana, as well as in Dallas and Los Angeles. The tour was originally supposed to be 10 dates but now is only six. Fans from the Virginia gig reportedly were upset because the singer only played a total of 45 minutes.
