Ezekiel Elliott Suspended for 6 Games for Domestic Violence Allegations

RadioOnFire.com - With rumors of suspension hanging over Ezekiel Elliott, the breakout Dallas Cowboys star’s fate seems to come to a “definite” conclusion by NFL.
After the league investigated allegation of Zeke allegedly having five domestic violence incidents with his ex-girlfriend in six days, they have concluded that he will be suspended for six games without pay. The woman was allegedly abused for five days around the time of his 21st birthday and prior to the draft in 2016.
This past Thursday (Aug 10), Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk revealed that a source within the NFL has confirmed Zeke will be suspended after the league investigated into allegations of five domestic violence incidents in a six day timespan, which violates their Personal Conduct Policy. While it is still unclear how long he will be suspended, some believe he could be sidelined for about six games.

Former running back Cris Carter made an appearance on FS1’s Undisputed where said that he would be “shocked” if the 22-year-old running back would not be suspended within the next “48 hours” and it’s not hard to realize something happened to the victim.
"Because based on the information that's going to come out, it's going to be fairly easy to determine that something happened to this woman in her four days of being with Zeke," Carter said. "This is just pure assault or domestic violence."
Domestic violence allegations often warrant a six game suspension, but can be increased or decreased depending on the situation according to league rules.
Elliot is expected to make an appeal to the NFL within three business days. If he chooses not to, his suspension starts on September 2 and will be eligible to return on October 23.
