RadioOnFire.com - Trump has been pushing hard to pass a bill to replace the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a Obamacare, for some time now. The president and the Senate have had no success so far, and Trump voiced his frustrations during a recent White House speech. However, when speaking on the so called “havoc” created by Obamacare, Trump mistakenly said the wrong amount of years that the health care act has been in effect. Trump said, “For the past 17 years, Obamacare has wreaked havoc on the lives of innocent, hard-working Americans.” For those unaware, Barack Obama only spent eight years in office, in which Obamacare was created and implemented.
Trump went on to deliver a speech that seemed like a plea to Senate Republicans to “do the right thing” by voting to remove Obamacare and replace it with another act. “And for Senate Republicans, this is their chance to keep their promise. Over and over again, they said ‘repeal and replace.’ But they can now keep their promise to the American people to provide emergency relief to those in desperate need of help and to improve healthcare for all Americans.”
