Dwyane Wade Says Trump's Tweet About Cousin's Murder Left Bad Taste

RadioOnFire.com - Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has set his sights on trying to gain support from the African-American community and has even gone as far as attempting to comment on the violence seen in African-American communities. However, Trump fired off an insensitive tweet about a young Chicago woman named Nykea Aldridge who was gunned down while pushing a stroller down the street, while saying that is why "African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!" The presidential candidate also noted that the woman is a cousin of NBA player Dwyane Wade, who later tweeted about his unfortunate circumstances surrounding the situation. Since then, Wade has taken to 'Good Morning America' to address the news around his cousin, as well as Donald Trump. In the interview, Wade spoke on the attention that Trump brought to the situation, saying "On one hand, your cousin's death is used as a ploy for political gain. I was grateful that it started a conversation, but on the other hand, it just put a bad taste in my mouth because of what my family is dealing with."

After backlash for his tweet, Donald Trump and his team sent out their condolences to Dwyane Wade and the family of Nykea Aldridge.
