Philando Castile's Mom Speaks on His Death: "We Are Being Hunted"

RadioOnFire.com - This past Wednesday, a man by the name of Philando Castile was shot to death during a traffic stop in a suburb of Minnesota. Castile's death was particularly gruesome and was captured on a live-stream by his girlfriend. What took the death to the next level was the fact that Castile's girlfriend's child was in the backseat of the car when Castile was shot in the driver's seat of the car.

Now, Castile's mother -- Valerie Castile has voiced her opinion hours after her son was slain by a police officer. During an interview with CNN, Valerie Castile said that "we are being hunted" in reference to black people in America. His mother also said that the officer who shot him was "trigger happy," as shown by his quickness to draw his gun in the video.

Castile's mother went on to say that their family is actively seeking justice for her son's death, and that they hope the officer who is responsible is sent to prison for the murder of her son. She said "If I can be held accountable for what I do, these officers should too." Watch the interview above.
