RadioOnFire.com - Alton Sterling, 37, of Baton Rouge was shot and killed by police while selling music outside of a convenience store early Tuesday (July 6) morning. According to several reports, police responded to an anonymous caller claiming that the shooting victim was armed.
A video captured the short moments before Sterling was shot, which shows an officer tackling him to the hood of a car and later slammed him on the pavement. After pinning Sterling to the ground one of the officers held a gun close to the man's body, and the officer's partner can be heard yelling, "He's got a gun!" Moments later, Sterling was fatally shot and the video quickly cuts away.
I am sure the FOP (Faternal Order of Police) will have some excuse as to how this killing was somehow everybody else fault but the officers that did it. Maybe he already had bullets in him. Maybe he shot himself. I know cop supporters don't see anything wrong with this video at all. "Just because the officer says "He got a gun" does not mean he actually had one! The officer have shot and killed people they thought had a gun to later find out it was a sandwich. The suspect was subdued and did not need to be killed! This is going to get ugly!
Check out the very shocking footage below.
