Star-Spangled Spectacular with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
July 3rd and July 4th at Oregon Ridge Park
An outdoor celebration featuring patriotic favorites such as Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, topped off with dazzling fireworks. Plus, hear the winner of the BSO’s famed “O, Say Can You Sing?” contest perform The Star-Spangled Banner.

Live entertainment by the Columbia Concert Band (see below for more info). Bring a picnic or purchase food from on-site vendors. Parking is free (no VIP parking available).

Note: Those wishing to place a blanket or sheet may do so beginning at 8 AM on July 4. Those wishing to place a tarp on the grass may do so beginning at 3 PM. Placement of tarps must wait until 3 PM in order to protect the grass. For more information on your tarp, contact the Columbia Association at 410-312-6330. No boats are permitted on the lake July 3-5. We encourage all attendees to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion. Little Patuxent Parkway will be closed at approximately 6:30-7:30 PM and is not to be reopened until the conclusion of the fireworks.
