RadioOnFire.com - According to several reports, R. Kelly is searching for a distributor for his completed new album following his split from Sony. Kelly parted with Sony just two weeks after the controversial Lifetime docu-series, Surviving R. Kelly, which detailed alleged abuse of underage girls.
Kelly has several options to release the album, including going through an indie distributor or signing a new label deal, while others believe that he could upload the album directly to Spotify. However, a Spotify source revealed to Billboard that their direct upload feature is still in beta and only available to certain artists, not including Kelly.
