1 Killed, 3 Injured In Baltimore County Crash Involving Stolen Car


RadioOnFire.com - One person is dead and three others were injured in a crash in Baltimore County which involved a stolen car, Baltimore County police said.

One person inside of the stolen car, Taiwan X. Linton, 18, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The juvenile driver and two other juvenile occupants inside the stolen Honda were injured and transported to local hospitals for treatment.

According to Baltimore County Police, just before 4 p.m. on Monday, a patrol officer in the area of Highfalcon Road and Meriam Court observed a 2014 black Honda Accord which had been reported stolen.

As the officer stopped the Honda and started to get out of his police car to approach the suspects, the driver inside the stolen car accelerated and left the area. According to police, the officer pursued the stolen car but ended the pursuit within a short period of time.

Police say the crash occurred after the driver of the stolen car continued to flee the area after police had ended the pursuit.

The stolen Honda struck an unoccupied 2004 Ford truck and continued into a tree in the 300-block of Highfalcon Road.
