RadioOnFire.com - Kenny Bryant, the Mississippi sheriff who is suing R. Kelly for ruining his life, wants to question the singer under oath about having an affair with his wife. Bryant plans to question Kelly at his lawyer's office in Mississippi, the only state where it's legal to sue another person for breaking up a marriage, telling The Blast that the questioning will be "continuing day to day until completed."
Bryant and his ex-wife, Asia Childress, were married in 2012, and she revealed to her husband that she previously had a relationship with R. Kelly, but told Bryant that it was over. However, Bryant claims that his ex-wife and Kelly reunited at one of his concerts a few months after they were married.
Bryant claims that his ex-wife carried on an affair with R. Kelly for five years, and he alleges that his ex also gave him chlamydia, which he says she contracted from Kelly. Bryant also claims that his wife suggested they move to Georgia, which he believes was for her to be closer to Kelly, and Bryant says he went into financial ruin because he couldn't find a job.
Bryant is suing Kelly for ruining his marriage and depriving him of his spouse, love, support and conjugal affection. He says that he suffered emotional, financial, and psychological loss.
Kelly admitted to knowing Asia Childress, but denies he slept with her and broke up Bryant's marriage. He is asking the judge to throw the case out.
