RadioOnFire.com - A Baltimore pair faces charges in the robbery and killing of Timothy Moriconi. He was killed Sept. 27 in his Federal Hill neighborhood in the 1200 block of Riverside Avenue. Police said officers found the 25-year-old man with at least gunshot wound to his upper body.

Tips led police to locate a vehicle linked to the incident. Police stopped the vehicle Wednesday and, in a search, found a handgun that proved a ballistic match to the bullet that killed Moriconi, police spokesman T.J. Smith said. Both occupants were arrested

Deandre Devon Sleet, 23, faces charges including first- and second-degree murder, robbery and firearms charges. As a felon, he was prohibited from possessing firearms. Kiara Treasure Wesley, 23, was charged with having a handgun in her vehicle, with additional charges pending.

Smith said Sleet was also charged with a robbery in northeast Baltimore. He said Sleet and Wesley may be linked to other robberies in the city, with Wesley serving as the getaway driver.

Smith said there's no indication Moriconi knew the suspects.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2100.
