RadioOnFire.com - A man killed his girlfriend during an argument Monday in Pasadena and drove around with her body in his minivan for the next day, police say.
Anne Arundel County police, responding Tuesday evening to a missing persons call, developed reason to believe Megan Ellen Burdeaux had been killed by her boyfriend and that her body may still be in the vehicle.
At around 2:50 a.m., police found the boyfriend's Chevy minivan in the area of Sappington Station and Burns Crossing roads in Odenton. Police say the boyfriend fought with officers and was taken into custody. He's been identified as Edgar Franklin Manning IV, 26, of no fixed address.
In the back of the minivan, they found Burdeaux, 21 and of the 7000 block of West Drive in Glen Burnie. She was pronounced dead by responding medics.
Police believe that on Monday, Manning and Burdeaux had an argument in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway. Manning then allegedly assaulted Burdeaux. An autopsy will determine the exact cause and manner of death. Manning has been charged with first- and second-degree murder.
