Conor McGregor Set to Make His Return to the UFC October 6th

RadioOnFire.com - Conor McGregor has been on quite the roller-coaster since last stepping in the ring. However, with the legal troubles behind him and the initial dose of superstardom wearing off, McGregor is set to return to the octagon to do what made him famous. To make matters that much sweeter for McGregor, he's facing the object of his rage during the bus incident in New York City; undefeated lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Dana White said of McGregor's return:

"For Conor, coming back from a two-year layoff, in my opinion -- and it's crazy to say this because of how popular he is around the world -- but he's one of the most underrated fighters in the UFC. Everybody thinks because he speaks so well and gets so crazy and everything, it makes him sort of less of a fighter. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen."

McGregor looks to regain the 155lb championship he vacated in April due to inactivity. The fight between McGregor and Nurmagomedov is set to headline UFC 229 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
