Water Main Break Causes Geyser Of Water In White Marsh

RadioOnFire.com - White Marsh volunteer fire crews responded to a geyser of water in White Marsh that caused a nearby road to shut down.

Officials said residents reported seeing water shooting up from the street in the 5600 block of Gunpowder Road around 11:42 a.m. on Thursday. Baltimore County officials confirmed that the road has been shut down.

City of Baltimore Public Works officials said the break was on an 8-inch waterline. Crews shut off valves in the area to stop the water flow around 3:10 p.m.

Public Works officials said they are not sure whether the break is disrupting water service in the area.
