RadioOnFire.com - A New Jersey couple lost their lives over the weekend after a home explosion. The powerful blast caused the home to fly nearly 100 feet in the air.
The cause of the explosion is unknown but neighbors say that the couple had new appliances installed the day before, alluding that there may have been a gas leak.
The victims have been identified as John and Carole Paladino, both in their 70’s. Footage of aftermath shows massive flames and debris. The blast also damaged homes nearby. Some residents stated that their houses were shaking -- and windows were blown out.
Authorities are currently investigating the initial cause of the explosion.
