Isaiah Thomas Agrees to One-Year $2M Deal with the Denver Nuggets

RadioOnFire.com - Point guard Isaiah Thomas is on the move yet again, only this time he's headed to the Mile-High City. Thomas, who spent last season between Cleveland and Los Angeles has agreed to a deal with the Denver Nuggets that would create a potential backcourt of he and 2nd-year guard Jamal Murray.

Thomas met with his new organization in Las Vegas to discuss his role with head coach Mike Malone and team president Tim Connelly. The Nuggets are hoping Thomas can bring an additional punch to catapult them into the Western Conference playoff conversation while Thomas is looking to stay healthy and be a major factor on a winning team.

Thomas and Malone have a relationship dating back to the 2013-14 season when Malone coached Thomas in Sacramento as a member of the Kings. He [Malone] is looking for Thomas to bring that same energy as a scorer and playmaker.
