Trump Says Kanye West Helped His Legacy By Recognizing Him

RadioOnFire.com - President Trump has once again publicly recognized Kanye West for co-signing his MAGA movement --this time, insisting that the move can only help cement the rapper's name in history.

Trump defied his political opposition when he skipped out on the annual White House correspondent's dinner. Instead, he hosted another one of his campaign-style rallies over the weekend.During a 2-minute speech, he brought up Kanye West. The president followed up on his tweet this past week in which he thanked Kanye.

Trump announced that rapper serves as an example that more African-Americans are getting on board with his Make America Great Again mantra.

"Kanye West gets it. He gots it. He gets it. And, he saw that. When he sees that African American unemployment is the lowest in history... You know, people are watching," Trump said while addressing the scores of red caps filling the Michigan crowd standing before him on Saturday night, April 28. "That's a very important thing he's done for his legacy. It's a very important thing," he then added.
