The founder of Death Row Records was transferred to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center on Tuesday and remained there Thursday morning, according to online jail records.
Knight, 52, complained about his deteriorating health at a criminal court hearing last month, and the judge overseeing his murder case offered to sign a medical order submitted by his lawyer. Knight's relatives previously told the Daily News he suffers from dangerous blood clots. He also had emergency appendix surgery in March 2016. Knight has been rushed to the hospital by ambulance multiple times since he was arrested following a fatal hit-and-run in Compton in February 2015.
He was due to face trial this month on charges he murdered Compton businessman Terry Carter and attempted to murder Cle "Bone" Sloan. Knight has pleaded not guilty, claiming he was the victim of an armed ambush. He moved on to his 16th lawyer in the case last month.
His April 9 trial was postponed two weeks ago amid the latest shakeup of his legal team. He's due back in court April 23.
