Ravens' Newsome, Harbaugh To Be Questioned In Kaepernick Collusion Case

RadioOnFire.com - The signing of Robert Griffin III caught the eye of more than just Baltimore Ravens fans on Wednesday.

Pro Football Talk is reporting general manager Ozzie Newsome and head coach John Harbaugh will be questioned under oath in Colin Kaepernick's collusion grievance. Kaepernick can choose to attend the event.

The Ravens will be asked why they saw Griffin as a better signing than Kaepernick, with those answers collected by Kaepernick's lawyers and eventually used in an effort to prove NFL teams colluded to keep the former San Francisco quarterback unemployed because of his role in protesting the national anthem.

The Ravens also offered Griffin, not Kaepernick, a contract last year. The 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year, Griffin has battled injuries since being drafted second overall six years ago.

Kaepernick's best season came in the 2012 season when he led the 49ers to the Super Bowl before losing to the Ravens.

Griffin has a career 63.3 completion percentage, 7.4 yards per attempt, 88.4 quarterback rating, 42 passing touchdowns and 26 interceptions.

Kaepernick has a career 59.8 completion percentage, 7.3 yards per attempt, 88.9 quarterback rating, 72 passing touchdowns and 30 interceptions.
