Money Man Buys Himself out of Cash Money Records Contract

RadioOnFire.com - Just a year after announcing his deal, Atlanta rapper Money Man revealed that he is free from his contract with Cash Money.

Back in February 2017, Money Man hinted that he signed to Birdman’s Cash Money/ Rich Gang on Instagram. The announcement came after the rapper gained buzz following the releases of his mixtapes Black Circle, Black Circle 2, and Black Circle Friday. The projects combined for 1 million streams.

However, taking to Instagram and Twitter last month, Money Man revealed that he was experiencing trouble with Cash Money. “Label took all my muzik down, guess it’s time ta hit da west and grab a couple hundred more #’s” captioned a photo of Money Man posing in a van.

On Monday (April 9), Money Man took to Twitter to reveal that he is no longer signed to Cash Money, announcing to fans that he will be putting his music back to the public. “JUST BOUGHT MY SELF OUT MY CONTRACT WITH CASH MONEY RECORDS.” Money Man tweeted. “MY MUSIC WILL BE BACK ON STREAMING PLATFORMS SOON!!!!”

While Money Man appears to have ended his relationship with Cash Money, Birdman has his sights on helping NBA Youngboy attain his full potential. Despite the fact the From The Bayou joint mixtape between the two has yet to be released, speaking with the Rapup, Birdman called Youngboy “the next biggest young superstar that game had ever had."
