RadioOnFire.com - Cardi B is giving herself one more show on the road and then she is taking a break from touring she announced on Wednesday, April 25. Earlier this month, Cardi went public about her pregnancy with Offset's child on Saturday Night Live.
In the weeks that have passed since breaking the news, the Invasion Of Privacy rapper has trudged through a multitude of television appearances, promotional events and shows, culminating with her recent appearance at Coachella.
The busy schedule has apparently paid off, with her debut topping the charts, breaking streaming records, and propelling her to the forefront of popular music. It has truly proven to be a ride beyond the Bronx native's wildest dreams, but it has also been a very tiring experience, and thus, Cardi says that its time to stop straining herself and to place focus on the final phase of her pregnancy.
“So I just wanted to make this a little clear and everything. Broccoli Fest will be my last performance for a little while,” she stating, making reference to this upcoming weekend's music festivities in D.C. “Shortie keep growing. I be looking like I be moving and everything, but in reality, a b**ch barely can breathe! I want to thank y’all for understanding. I’ll be back for the Bruno Mars tour and everything,” she said.
