Cardi B Responds to Rumors About Woman Having Offset's Child

The issue behind the claim was that Offset and rapper Cardi B were engaged. Defending his name, Offset responded to Powell on social media, claiming that he never even met his accuser. Powell hit back, posting screenshots of a conversation she had with Offset, where he asks her to come meet him.

Offset tried to claim that the picture was doctored or fake, because his avatar in the screenshots didn't match up with the date of the accusations. Unfortunately, avatars change when the user switches their picture, and Powell claims she didn't take the screenshots until months later, after Offset told TMZ she was lying.

All of this drama took place months ago, and all seemed relatively quiet for awhile until Powell gave birth to her child last week. She named her daughter Karma Kiari Cephus. Kiari Kendrell Cephus is Offset's government name, and Powell crafted her child's name after the alleged baby daddy. Now that little Karma has arrived, Cardi B has finally broken her silence on the matter.

“People are so miserable they rather believe a lie just to talk about something," tweeted the "Bodak Yellow" rapper on Sunday. She is rumored to be carrying Offset's child as well. Responding to a fan who claimed that entertainment holds rank over truth, Cardi tweeted, "Lmaaooo but they rather believe a lie cause it’s entertaining💁🏽😩😩."
